Glenkens Pollinators Project

Dalry Community Council and Propagate present a new and exciting project – and we want you to be involved!

Glenkens Pollinators Project

The Glenkens Pollinators Project will see around 120 fruit and nut trees being planted across gardens and community spaces, right across our area. This will create a nature network for nectar loving insects to thrive - boosting biodiversity while creating edible landscapes.

We hope that this project will go on to bear future fruits and keen to hear your ideas! Maybe we can have a local fruit sharing project, or link up with the Galloway Apple Project in Wigtown to learn grafting skills. Perhaps we can make a Glenkens Cider!

If you have any questions please contact Abi via abi@propagate.org.uk or 07340 531506.

This project is funded by Scottish Power Energy Networks and the D&G Climate Hub.
