Carsphairn Community Council and local children’s group Bairn Banter jointly hosted an excellent bake sale fundraising event on Saturday 20th September to help support the annual children’s Halloween Party taking place next month.

The annual Glenkens Food Month is a fantastic partnership of local organisations and businesses celebrating the amazing food and drink of the Glenkens and runs throughout September featuring a range of food-related events and activities from local producers, establishments and communities.

It is that time of year again when our thoughts turn towards Glenkens Food Month! This year it will again be September.

Carsphairn Community Council and Bairn Banter held an enjoyable community market in Lagwyne Hall on Saturday 16th September as part of Glens Food Month.
