New Galloway and Kells Local Place Plan

In New Galloway and Kells Parish, we have started work on our Local Place Plan, the opportunity for everyone in the parish to have their say on what they would like to see happen here. Everyone’s voice is important and everyone can voice their opinion.

Local Place Plans focus on how local land is used and developed. Once our Local Place Plan has been adopted, Dumfries & Galloway Council must take account of our views when they make planning decisions or investments, for example road improvements, public services such as bus routes, provision of schools or playgrounds.

The Local Place Plan is our chance to tell the Council what’s important about our place – what we love, what we need, and what we want to see improved.

Please go to https://tinyurl.com/NGK-LPP1 to complete online. Alternatively a printed copy can be obtained at the New Galloway Community Shop, the Town Hall or the Post Office – once completed post it in one of the boxes you’ll find at each of these locations.
