Looking to build a future in forestry, land management, or conservation? This paid internship with Carsphairn Community Woodland is a strong first step into the sector.
You’ll gain real, hands-on experience in woodland and forestry management while working in a 49-hectare community woodland in the Galloway Hills of the Glenkens, South West Scotland. This role is designed to develop practical skills, confidence, and sector knowledge in a real working environment.
What this internship offers:
Paid experience -The Real Living Wage
37.5 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 9.00am–4.30pm)
Practical forestry & woodland management skills
Experience working alongside professional woodland staff
A solid foundation for further training, apprenticeships, or employment
6-month contract starting mid-February
