We are looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, hardworking, physically fit gardener to support and guide the current gardener, Cameron, with the management and maintenance of Corsock House Gardens.

Person Specification – the successful applicant will:

  • be hard working, physically fit, self motivated and loyal

  • be an upbeat, optimistic team player able to work well with the other people on the estate

  • skillfully share knowledge with and mentor other members of the team

  • enjoy researching and implementing new practices in the garden

  • be skilled in the safe use and maintenance of garden machinery

  • be qualified to spray chemicals

  • know how to safely, efficiently and effectively manage a large, varied garden like Corsock House Gardens

  • be comfortable managing multiple jobs with competing demands for time and attention

  • have a full UK driving licence.

Required for start of March – 18 month fixed term contract (until September 2027)
