On a chilly January evening in Carsphairn, visitors from near and far congregated together in the warm embrace of the beautifully decorated Lagwyne Hall to celebrate the life of our Scottish bard, Robert Burns.

Many celebrations across Dumfries and Galloway have been taking place this month to celebrate the Scottish bard, Robert Burns, and Carsphairn was no exception, holding their 54th annual fundraising Burns Supper in Lagwyne Hall on Friday 17th January.

Carsphairn held their inaugural Eden Project Communities Scotland Big Lunch on Sunday 2nd June 2024.

Organisers of an Alzheimer and Dementia Fundraiser on behalf of Alzheimer Scotland (SCO22315) are looking for donations of raffle prizes and volunteer drivers for the event.
