Outreach Coordinator

Lothlorien Community is looking for an Outreach Coordinator to join our Core Group staff team on a fixed-term basis until March 2028 (3 days per week).

Based near Corsock in rural Dumfries and Galloway, Lothlorien is a therapeutic community set within 17 acres of woodland, gardens, and meadows. For over 40 years, we have supported people experiencing mental health challenges through community living, therapeutic gardening, and nature-based activities.

This is a varied and rewarding role focused on developing and delivering our outreach and day visitor programme. You’ll work closely with day visitors, residents, volunteers, and partner organisations to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. The role includes coordinating workshops, therapeutic gardening sessions, nature-based activities, and community events.

We’d love to hear from people who:

• Have experience supporting adults in health, care, or wellbeing settings

• Have an interest in therapeutic gardening and nature-based approaches

• Are confident coordinating activities or community programmes

• Have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working collaboratively

The role also includes participation in the on-call rota (approximately 1 week in 4).
