Paid Work Opportunity: Create and Curate Trainee, 18 - 25years

CatStrand Creative Futures

We’re looking for a creative to help lead a visual arts project for young people this summer.

You’ll work alongside a professional artist and project team to help plan creative workshops, support young participants, and organise a final art exhibition.

This is a supported mentorship role, so you don’t need lots of experience - just a strong interest in art, creativity, working with young people, events or exhibitions.

  • Fee: £500

  • Time commitment: Approx. 33 hours

  • Age: 18-25

  • Location: CatStrand, New Galloway

You’ll gain experience in:

  • Supporting creative workshops

  • Working with young people

  • Planning a summer arts project

  • Organising an exhibition

  • Working with a professional artist

  • Building confidence as a young creative leader
