This film captures a feeling of reflection, of harvesting memories and Autumn’s largess.
It unstoppers, decants and spills out memory in poetry and prose that seeks connection to our own wider female family members and to the lives of rural women everywhere.
It invites introspection and a sense that there is more to talk about, to explore and appreciate.
This is a celebration of women writers who challenges stereotypical views of older women living in a rural landscape captured in evocative images and sound by film maker and visual artist Sue Thomas.
Followed by a free creative writing workshop facilitated by the Women Who Write collective, in response to the film Bottling it. Work created in the workshop be bottled and preserved in your choice of containers to store on your own shelf or contribute to our shelf.
