John Nelson is a keen local and family historian. At the age of 65, John rode a Clydesdale horse 130 miles into the Highlands, following in the footsteps of his ancestor’s stolen horse.
Fully accessible for wheelchair users including toilets, disabled parking spaces available.
Open weekdays all year round and also at weekends for specific events and bookings, The Smiddy offers three rooms for hire with a smart screen available and also has a hot-desk facility. Regular fitness and well-being classes are held and the Glenkens Men’s Shed is onsite too.
