On Sunday 10th November 2024 at 3pm at Balmaghie Kirk, we will be holding our Act of Remembrance and Wreath Laying Service with the Reverend David Bartholomew, to honour those that have defended our freeedoms and protected our way of life.

After the success of our SR Crockett Car Run last year, we will hold our second Classic Car Run on the 9th of June 2024 at 1pm.

Animal lovers are warmly invited to bring their wonderful pets to our annual Pet Blessing Service at Balmaghie Kirk on Sunday 19th May at 3pm.

Exploring the archaeology of early medieval Balmaghie and its place in the cultural landscape of Galloway in the years 800-1100.

The route will cover many of the places associated with author SR Crockett, who is buried in Balmaghie Kirkyard, in both fact and fiction. Starting at Market Hill Car Park and finishing at Balmaghie Kirk where refreshments will be served.
