Emma Thompson plays a widow intent on scattering her husband’s ashes at a remote lake. However, travelling alone through snowbound northern Minnesota and seeking directions, she interrupts the likely intended murder of a teenage girl by a man and wife who have kidnapped and are holding their victim.

Hours from the nearest town and with no phone service, she realises that she is the young girl's only hope of rescue from the macabre pair holding her. Nevertheless, Emma’s character is no fading violet. She is used to the outdoor life in these frozen parts so the story moves to a showdown on the ice.

Doors open at 7pm for refreshments, screening starts at 7.30pm.
