The Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA)
The Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA) is the only organisation dedicated to supporting childminders in Scotland.
We promote childminding as a quality childcare service and support childminders to be the very best they can be. SCMA helps shape policy, share knowledge and guidance, provide professional training and events for our members and the wider childminding community.
We are currently running the Programme for Scotland’s Childminding Future (PSCF) to recruit new childminders across Scotland. As part of the programme, candidates will have access to training, 1:1 support and a minimum £750 start up grant to support them in starting a new childminding business.
