Carsphairn Community Woodland Ltd.

Carsphairn Community Woodland Ltd manages a large area of mixed forestry on behalf of the local Community. As a 'not-for-profit' company, part of our ethos is to encourage young people in the area to gain experience of forestry management.

We run a pre-apprentice scheme and provide locals with reasonably priced firewood. We are in the process of setting up a rural skills centre - hopefully bringing opportunities for local people to train in forestry skills and heritage crafts. We most commonly recruit to pre-apprentice and forestry operative roles.
