Your community shop needs you!

When we pop into New Galloway Community Shop, we know that we will be greeted with a friendly smile from the hard-working shop team.

However, there is so much more going on behind the scenes when operating a community owned shop and holiday accommodation. To support the smooth running and continued success, volunteers give their time as board members or assist with various tasks and activities. New Galloway Community Enterprises Ltd (NGCE) are keen to hear from individuals who would like to make a difference in their local community. You may be able to offer regular time to volunteer in the shop, assist with one off maintenance and cleaning jobs in the accommodation or have marketing, bookkeeping, retail, or HR experience, that you could bring at a more strategic level by becoming a Board member?
