Resurfacing work will be taking place on the A75 at Castle Douglas, between Allanton Roundabout and the A713 junction, from Sunday 2nd November until Saturday 15th November 2025 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.

Between 13th – 15th March the Galloway & Southern Ayrshire Biosphere (GSAB) are hosting a Pop-Up Hub at the Samphire Gallery on King St in Castle Douglas.

A completion event for the Galloway Glens scheme is planned for 26th September, 2.30-4pm in Castle Douglas Town Hall, open to all.
