Balmaclellan Local Place Plan now open for formal consultation

Following almost a year's consultation and development work led by Balmaclellan Community Council, the draft Balmaclellan Local Place Plan is now ready for its final consultation.

Residents' responses to two rounds of questionnaires, the Place Standard tool, and a drop-in session, have all been taken into account in the final consultation draft. The plan aims to articulate the aspirations of Balmaclellan residents for the future of the settlement and wider Community Council area,  to highlight which facilities, amenities and places are most important to residents, and make suggestions for improvements.

A paper copy of the draft Plan will be available to read in the Village Hall with comments slips available.

The consultation period closes at midnight on Sunday 14th December 2025.
