Culture Sector Support

Scottish Government survey – support for the culture sector in Scotland

The Scottish Government has launched a survey about how the culture sector is supported in Scotland and what needs to change to best meet the needs of the sector going forward.

The survey is voluntary and should take around 15 minutes to complete. Responses to the survey will inform the scope of the Scottish Government’s review of how the culture sector is supported in Scotland, including an independent review of Creative Scotland as the lead body for the arts, screen and creative industries in Scotland which will be chaired by Dame Sue Bruce.

South of Scotland Enterprise (SOSE) want to encourage responses from as many individual creative practitioners and freelancers as possible as well as from national and local organisations across Scotland who are working in the sector or have an interest in how it is supported going forward. SOSE would be grateful, therefore, if you would share the link to the survey widely across your networks so that as many people as possible can have their say.

Please submit responses to the survey by Friday 31st January. If you have any questions or need additional support to complete the survey please contact: jenny.young@gov.scot.
