Come along to find out more from Carsphairn Heritage Initiative and AOC’s excavations at Stroanfreggan Craig hillfort and Smittons Bridge kerbed cairn.

You will get some background to what we know about the site, a tour of the trenches and an update on our findings.

Tours start at 11am and 12noon.

** Please be aware there is limited parking in public lay-bys. Please do not block access or any roads. The cairn is located a short walk from the public road and relatively accessible. The route beyond to the fort is c15 minute walk up a hill path with some steep sections and sturdy footwear is recommended. **
