Land Notes - Exploring Treasured Places

Exploring Treasured Places

Part of Land Notes - Glenkens Festival of Land.

Do you have a local place that is of special importance to you? It could be anything from part of your garden, your farm, a riverbank or view, a local park or walk. Such ‘treasured places’ are sometimes unique to us as individuals, or they can be places of shared value. Whichever it is, such places matter!

In this creative workshop we will ask why treasured places are special, and explore ideas together as to how they might be managed (or not!), and potentially even re-imagined, so they remain vibrant and inclusive spaces for the future. All ages are welcome. Just bring your imagination and have some fun.
