Galloway Sings for Gaza

Have fun, enjoy the music and extend the hand of friendship from Galloway to Gaza.  This afternoon event will bring  people of all ages from across Galloway together, to sing songs for the people of Gaza as an act of solidarity. We will learn three songs on the themes of freedom, friendship and home that reflect both Palestinian and Scots culture. The songs will be filmed and uploaded on social media for Palestinians and others to view.

All ages are welcome - children must be accompanied by an adult. If you like to sing you are welcome. No experience of singing in a choir is required. No need to read music - all songs will be taught by ear. For those who would prefer them, sheet music and sound files will be made available in advance.

There will be two short breaks – bring your own refreshments. We will film the performance of the songs at the end of the afternoon.
