Join Carsphairn Heritage Initiative and Cathy MacIver from AOC to find out more about the initial results from excavations at Stroanfreggan fort and Smittons Bridge Cairn.

The event will start with a brief update on what our volunteers found during the excavations, what this means in terms of our understanding of the site and what questions we need to be asking next. there will be a chance to ask questions about the sites after the update and we would like to hear from you what you want to find out next.

We will be taking all this on board to design our post-excavation programme, including targeting what to date, what questions the artefacts can help answer and what big mysteries remain?

All are welcome, this event is aimed at both people who volunteered on the project and anyone interested in the results from the local community and further afield!
