When residents of 1920’s Littlehampton begin to receive wicked letters full of outrageous profanities, suspicion falls on foulmouthed Rose and she is charged with the crime. However as the town’s womenfolk ignore the police and begin their own investigation, it looks like guilt may lie elsewhere.
