The early life of working-class Richard Jenkins and the discovery of his acting talents by his schoolmaster, Mr Burton. The latter coached him in acting and even made him his legal ward to change his name to Richard Burton and launch his career. Toby Jones gives a well rounded portrayal of schoolmaster Mr Burton.
