In May 2021 Home Office Immigration Enforcement swooped onto a Glasgow property to detain two men who lived there. However, they reckoned without the strength of community action. Getting the men into the van was as far as they got when the vehicle was blockaded by the neighbourhood who had decided that they “wisnae huvin’ it”.
