Emily Blunt stars as a TV newsreader, Margaret Fairchild, who seems to be gaining new, not-to-say, superhuman powers. Meanwhile, a brilliant young cybersecurity analyst called Dr Daniel Kellner, played by Josh O’Connor is risking his life to be a whistleblower at a secretive corporation called Wardex who has been advising the US government, for decades, on dealing with extra-terrestials. Of course, these two, all unknowing, are on a course to meet and save the rest of us.
