Dalry Film Club: Dark Water (12)

Still using Teflon pans?

Dark Water

This is the true story of the fight of a single lawyer against the might of the Dupont company to bring them to book over the pollution caused as they dumped toxic chemicals into a watercourse in West Virginia.

The pollutants were regarded as wonder chemicals after their introduction in the 1950’s for their waterproofing and non-stick qualities. However nowadays we call them “forever chemicals” that will probably outlast us all.
