To commemorate the death of Dolly Parton, Dalry Film Club is organising a charity showing of 9 to 5.
This will be on Saturday 17 October at 2.30 in the afternoon - so a matinee show. Proceeds will go to charity , predominantly Marie Curie (but we may share with Alzheimer's depending on how much is raised).
As usual entry is £6 for the film with tea , coffee etc by donation (please give generously as always).
We will also have a Bake Stall for sale of cakes and other baked goods.

The 9 to 5 film is a 1980 comedy about three female coworkers — Violet, Judy, and Doralee — who unite against their sexist, egotistical boss, Franklin Hart Jr.
Violet is a capable senior supervisor constantly passed over for promotion; Judy is a naive newcomer entering the workforce after her husband leaves her; Doralee is Hart's secretary, who is falsely rumored to be having an affair with him and faces constant harassment. After bonding over their shared mistreatment by Hart, the three women share a night of drinking and venting, dreaming up wild, drug-induced fantasies of how to kill their tyrannical boss.
