Gardener required for St Margaret’s Church, New Galloway

We are looking for a self-employed GARDENER to maintain the church grounds. Must have own lawnmower and other necessary garden equipment.

Main work April to October, approximately 1 hour a week, or 2 hours a fortnight, at hourly rate of £14 plus expenses such as fuel for machines. Possibility of some minor work in winter months.

Duties include: mowing/strimming grass, keeping paths weed-free, trimming hedges annually (October), and other tasks as agreed in advance.
