Potential MUGA users - please complete the survey!

Dalry Community Properties Trust (DCPT), a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SC046005) led by local volunteers, is working to request an asset transfer from the council to bring Dalry Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) into community ownership and back into a usable condition.

The team is looking to collect the views of people from across the Glenkens who would be interested in using the MUGA via an online questionnaire: http://tinyurl.com/Dalry-MUGA-survey

The MUGA is situated next to the school, and has been closed in recent years because the surface has deteriorated and is not safe to use. The DCPT aims to raise funds to replace the surface to enable the facility to be opened up again. During term time, the MUGA would be used by the school for some of the time, with the remaining time available to be booked by members of the community and groups.

When resurfaced, the MUGA could be used for basketball, tennis, five-a-side football, hockey, volleyball or netball. It would also be suitable for wheeled activities.

Please contact the DCPT via sjtdcpt@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Survey closes 28th January 2024, paper copies can be completed at Dalry Village Shop.
