Not all heroes wear capes - could you help Balmaclellan Village Hall?

Balmaclellan Village Hall are looking for people who like to give a little and people who like to give a little more - both are more than welcome!

Did you know Balmaclellan Village Hall has had a presence in the village for 100 years this year? We're now a registered charity which demonstrates the dedication of our volunteers and the need for this versatile space.

This year alone we've run some amazing events including, our popular Burns Supper, our super afternoon teas and our well attended pop up pub.

We're now looking to grow and we hope that can be with you!

We're looking for Trustees and Management Group Members.

For trustee roles, we have a Treasurer role. This is an important role and means we know we are on the right track.

Other roles include:

  • generally setting up or clearing away for any of our events

  • writing funding bids

  • helping with fundraising

  • catering or baking for cake sales or afternoon teas

  • cleaning and maintenance

No particular skills are required, other than an interest in helping the Trust to perform its role to provide recreational facilities and organise recreational activities.

Get in touch if you'd like to be involved - btllynnstewart1@icloud.com or julia.higgins55@outlook.com. Or see our Facebook page for more about what we do.
