Rooted: Growing Local Food Ecosystems (films and discussion)

Shelling beans at the Food Farm

Rooted: Growing a Local Food Ecosystem follows the stories of nature friendly farmers and food producers across Dumfries and Galloway, looking at ways to access local food, and meeting community food projects that inspire food citizenship.

How can we work together to make a better food system that healthy, sustainable and fair for all? Rooted is a snapshot of some of the amazing people and projects across the region.

After the film there will be a facilitated panel discussion with some of those featured, and an opportunity for Q&A.

Rooted is by local film maker Emma Dove (Soft Error) in collaboration with Propagate. Run time 48mins.
