Week 5: 29th-30th September

Throughout September, Kells and Dalry Primary pupils have been learning about seasonal and local produce for Glenkens Food Month, which now draws to a close with five fantastic events over the last two days.

Your Glenkens Food Hub order will be ready for collection on Friday 29th; and don't forget the Food Hub operates throughout the year on a two week cycle, so you you can continue to enjoy local produce once Glenkens Food Month is over.

Pie, Pint n Patter from Together in the Glenkens is treating us to a beer tasting session in the CatStrand on Friday evening with beer from Five Kingdoms Brewery, and there is a Pot Luck Supper in New Galloway Town Hall (let Sam know what you'll be bringing!).

Saturday 30th, the final day, Mossdale Village Hall hold their monthly Soup Saturday, with not only soup but also dessert on offer from 1-3pm. And in the evening, make sure you've booked your tickets for the popular Hog Roast in Balmaclellan, you won't want to miss it!
