Crossmichael Community Trust

The Crossmichael Community Trust (CCT) is a Scottish Charitable Organisation, created for the community of Crossmichael and District with three distinct purposes:

• To advance community development for the benefit of the residents of the area;

• The provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities for all residents of the area;

• To advance the environmental protection and improvement of the land adjacent to Crossmichael Marina.

The Crossmichael Community Trust is a charity run entirely by volunteers, who generously give up their time, effort and energy to get work done, often on top of other commitments such as work, family and care commitments.

The Crossmichael Community Trust differs from the Crossmichael & District Council, who act more as a bridge between the community and DumGal Council, providing support to the local community on local issues and consult the community on a variety of issues.

The Crossmichael Community Trust has a smaller and more specific remit in the activities it engages in and the assets it manages.
