Come and explore some of Galloway's rich song tradition with Robyn Stapleton and Jo Miller. Music reading not essential.

Tea and coffee provided, bring lunch to share!

  • Workshop on tunes from Galloway and beyond - For instrumentalists of all ages. Amy and Neil will teach Galloway tunes and other repertoire for a mixed instrument group. You should be able to play a simple tune confidently (not suitable for beginners) and you can learn either by ear or using music notation. Audio files of tunes will be available before the workshop.

  • A’ the way to Galloway: Jo Miller & Friends - Jo Miller (song and fiddle), Amy Geddes (fiddle and viola), singer Robyn Stapleton, Steve Sutcliffe (concertina) and Neil Sutcliffe (piano, accordion and concertina) perform music from their new album A’ the way to Galloway, and other local songs and tunes.
