Community Concert at Parton Village Hall on August 24-08-2024 at 19:00
Parton village hall is hosting an exhibition called 'Music Making in the Glenkens'. Come and join us for a celebration of local music and musicians, past and present!
The evening will begin with a short talk by Dr Jo Miller, who will share songs, tunes and stories of Glenkens music, including Parton. An informal concert will follow, with music from the Cowan family, Andrew & Susan Bielinski, the Wyrdy Women, Blue, members of the Galloway violin studio and others.
