Grand Opening event – A Time and a Place.

This will be an afternoon concert with a difference!

The Catstrand Singers will be bringing us songs from the Glenkens, reminding us what a special place this is. We understand there will also be songs from further afield with a rousing chorus for everyone to join in.

With Kells school pupils and the Cubs present to focus us on thinking ahead as well as thinking about our past, we’ll be celebrating by identifying and talking about the various items being placed in the Time Capsule. These will be a mix of writings, photographs, historical mementos, special edition memorabilia and so forth. The cubs have already presented us with a scrapbook beautifully put together reflecting their experiences of today, and Kells pupils have also produced contributions to be included. We’re hoping they will bring those on the day and will tell us a bit about them.
