“Loch Ken” from Galloway Glens Landscape Partnership
The Glenkens and District Community Action Plan Steering Group is pleased to announce a significant event focused on the future of education and lifelong learning in remote-rural Scotland.
Saturday 15th June was a milestone for the Glaisters Bridge Community Woodland Site, near Corsock. New paths have been cut enabling access around the site and 250 trees were planted by volunteers.
Built in the late 19th century as a school, the Glenkens Community Centre in St John’s Town of Dalry has weathered challenges, closures, and transformations.
